Q) If I open my job for bidding will I be "locked in"?
A) No. There is no obligation to you when you open a job for bidding. You may withdraw your job from bidding at any time, or chose to not accept any offers made to you. In order to form a binding contract you will need to explictly accept an offer from a carrier.

Q) How do I know whether the carrier will be good or not?
A) Every carrier that joins us is verified manually by our staff. Every client is invited to rate their carrier after their job is complete based on punctuality, care, speed, attitude and presentation. The ratings are incorporated into the carrier's performance ratings, which are displayed to all clients in the future that receive a bid from that carrier. When a carrier bids on your job you will be able to view their ratings and profile to help you make your decision. You have the power to accept any bid placed on your job at any price, so you can rely on the carrier's past performance as well as price when booking your job. The end result means that there is more accountability for carriers on this system than choosing a company out of a phonebook.

Q) What if I want to transport an item that is not on the list?
A) Simply select something of a similar size or note the item down with its dimensions (height, width, depth, approx. weight) in the "Additional Information" field below the inventory.

Q) How long should I leave bidding open?
A) This depends on how long it is until your move. Bidding may remain open for a maximum of 2 weeks and a minimum of 24 hours. The longer you can leave your job open for bidding the more bids you are likely to receive.

Q) Are my goods covered for damage or loss in transit?
A) We offer Transit Protection Options to cover you goods whilst they are transit. There are several options available to you depending on the level of cover you're after. These options are available at the time of booking. You can learn more about our Transit Protection Options by clicking here.

Q) What information do you share about me with carriers?
A) When your job is open for bidding, we only share information that is crucial for accurate pricing of your job. No personally identifiable information is shared at this point. Carriers will only be able to see:
  • Your inventory items (the items you're moving);
  • The pickup and delivery suburbs, states, floors, availability of elevators, and access issues you have listed;
  • Your date requirements;
  • The time your job will be open for bidding;
When you accept an offer from a carrier we will then send them the details required to perform the job, such as your contact details. We will not share these details with any other party unless required by law.

If you have any further concerns about your privacy, please review our "Privacy Policy".

Q) How do I get started?
A) Simply visit our "Quotes Page" and fill in the online form. If you get stuck or have trouble filling in the form you can follow this guide to filling in your moving details.

Q) Where Can I Get More Help?
A) If your question hasn't been covered here please feel free to drop us an email. You can send us a message via our "Contact Page".
